Tools of the Trade

When you have good brushes, you need to take care of them to keep them in good shape. There are various brush cleaners but I use this kind which was recommended to me.

I used to just use it for oils and I didn't think that I needed it for watercolors, I probably did a fair amount of damage to my brushes doing that, I now use it to clean my brushes whenever I use them, you can't get all the pigment and paint out of your brushes just rinsing them.
